The Silver Bike is considered an early work by Uwe Ehinger, the very first Ehinger Kraftrad. It was created between 2007 and 2008 with the aim of combining an extreme custom motorcycle design with distinct road capability. Traditional factory work and high-tech components developed in-house come together to form an innovative overall package.
The Silver Bike is based on an HPU Softail frame modified by Ehinger Kraftrad, combined with an SJP Retro Glide front end and 21-inch RevTech Meridian wheels. All components – such as the handlebars, the Weber carburetor moved in front of the engine block or the exhaust system – blend into the sleek design line and support the style language of the shiny one-off.
The surfaces of the Silver Bike have a high-gloss finish. Almost every add-on part is either chrome-plated or elaborately polished. An approximately 1.7-liter Sputhe 104 V2 engine ensures appealing performance, and the six-speed gearbox also comes from the US specialist Sputhe.
